Supernormal Superpower, a production by Staatstheater Braunschweig JUNG!, is a vibrant and interactive performance for audiences ages 6 and up. Through humor, resilience, crip-acrobatics, and breathtaking aerials, two disabled performers tackle ableism, encouraging young (and non-) audiences to embrace differences and question societal norms. The piece explores how we perceive our own bodies and those of others, and how the rigid ideals of beauty and normalcy shape our understanding of the world.
